Yes. Murattil is free to download and free to use for recitation practice. We may add optional paid features in future, but the core practice will stay free.

Murattil is coming to iPhone first. We are submitting it to the App Store now, and it will be available as soon as Apple completes its review. The Android version will follow later.

Mostly not. The Quran text is loaded from our servers and recitation scoring runs on them, so both need an internet connection. Prayer times and the Qibla compass do work offline, because they are calculated on your device. Reference audio you have played in Hifz is kept in a small cache so it replays faster, but that is not a full offline mode.

Authentic Uthmani typesetting, with full diacritics, pause marks, and ayah separators — the same script used in the printed Mushaf.

Accurate enough to catch many of the mistakes you cannot hear yourself — but it is approximate, and it can be wrong. Results vary with your microphone, background noise and recitation pace, and running the one-time microphone calibration helps. It is a study aid, not a replacement for a qualified teacher.

Murattil helps you practice what you already know and highlights pronunciation concerns. For tajweed instruction itself, please learn from a qualified teacher — we point out where to focus, not how to rule.

Audio is scored and then discarded by default. We never use your recordings to train models without explicit, per-recording consent. Read the Privacy page for details.

iPhone first, on iOS 16 or later. An Android version will follow, and a web experience may come after that.
